1. Mowgli
Mowgli is the main character of the cartoon. He is a human boy who grows up as part of a wolf family instead of living among humans.

Kaa is a large python.

6. Akela
Akela is the respected elder of the Seeonee wolf pack.

7. Alexander – Moti

8. Luri – Chameli
Luri is Mowgli’s adoptive wolf mother and Alexander’s mate. In the Hindi television version, she became known as Chameli.

9. Akru – Akdu

11. Tabaqui
Tabaqui is a jackal who is generally connected with Shere Khan.

His sneaky behaviour makes him very different from loyal characters such as Bagheera and Baloo.
