Dharmendra was one of the most celebrated actors in Indian cinema. He was born in Nasrali village in the Ludhiana district of Punjab. His father, Kewal Krishan, was a schoolteacher. Dharmendra spent his early years in Punjab before moving to Mumbai to build a career in films.
He entered the film industry after participating in a talent competition organised by a popular film magazine. He made his acting debut with Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere in 1960. His appealing personality, natural acting and warm screen presence soon made him popular among film audiences.

Hema Malini is an Indian actress, classical dancer, filmmaker and public representative. She was born in Ammankudi in present-day Tamil Nadu to V. S. R. Chakravarthy and Jaya Lakshmi Chakravarthy. She received training in Indian classical dance from a young age.
Hema began her journey in cinema as a dancer before making her lead debut opposite Raj Kapoor in Sapno Ka Saudagar in 1968. Her elegance and expressive performances soon earned her the popular title “Dream Girl.”
She appeared in many successful Hindi films, including Johnny Mera Naam, Andaz, Lal Patthar, Seeta Aur Geeta, Prem Nagar, Sholay, Dream Girl, Satte Pe Satta, Razia Sultan and Baghban. Her performance in Seeta Aur Geeta remains one of her most admired roles.
