Shiva is an Indian animated action-comedy series centred on a brave schoolboy who lives with his grandparents in the fictional Vedas City. Shiva uses his intelligence, fighting skills and gadget-filled bicycle to protect people from criminals and unusual threats. His regular adventures are shared with his close friends Reva, Adi and Udi.

1. Shiva
Shiva is the main character and hero of the cartoon.
He is brave, intelligent, energetic and always willing to help someone in danger. Although he is still a schoolboy, Shiva regularly handles situations that even the adults of Vedas City struggle to solve.
One of his biggest advantages is his special super bicycle, which is fitted with different gadgets and can perform extraordinary functions. Shiva is also a skilled fighter and excellent cyclist.
He usually remains calm during a crisis and prefers using intelligence along with strength. He also helps Inspector Laddoo Singh catch criminals and protect Vedas City.
2. Aditya – Adi
Aditya, usually called Adi, is one of Shiva’s closest friends.
Adi likes to talk confidently about how brave he is. However, when real danger appears, he can become frightened much more quickly than Shiva.
He is outspoken, energetic and often says things without thinking about the consequences. This can sometimes land the entire group in trouble.
Despite his nervous side, Adi remains loyal to Shiva and regularly joins him on dangerous missions.
3. Uday – Udi
Uday, better known as Udi, is another important member of Shiva’s friend group.
Udi is physically strong but not always as fearless as he looks. One of his funniest habits is becoming hungry whenever he feels scared.
He also has a habit of blaming mysterious events on aliens, even when there is little evidence that aliens are involved.
His strange theories sometimes irritate Reva, but Udi’s positive nature makes him an entertaining part of the group.
4. Reva
Reva is Shiva’s intelligent and confident friend.
While Adi and Udi often provide comedy, Reva usually helps the group think more logically. She is creative, practical and good at planning.
Reva strongly believes in Shiva’s abilities and supports him during difficult situations. She also becomes annoyed when Adi and Udi panic unnecessarily.
Her intelligence makes her an important part of Shiva’s team rather than simply another travelling companion.
5. Inspector Laddoo Singh
Inspector Laddoo Singh is the police inspector of Vedas City and one of the funniest characters in the series.
He wants everyone to believe that he is a brave and highly capable police officer. Unfortunately, dangerous situations often make him nervous.
Laddoo Singh frequently depends on Shiva to solve complicated cases and capture criminals. After everything is over, he sometimes enjoys receiving attention from reporters and taking credit for the success.
Despite his comic behaviour, he genuinely wants to keep Vedas City safe.
6. Pedaram
Pedaram is Inspector Laddoo Singh’s trusted assistant.
He accompanies the inspector on police work and helps carry out plans during criminal investigations.
Pedaram is often more straightforward than his boss. When Laddoo Singh tries to exaggerate his own achievements, Pedaram may accidentally reveal what really happened.
This creates plenty of funny moments between the two police characters.
7. Nanaji
Nanaji is Shiva’s maternal grandfather and an important member of his family.
He enjoys singing Hindustani classical music and believes he is an excellent singer. Other characters do not always share his enthusiasm for his voice.
His singing is exaggerated for comedy and is sometimes shown as so powerful that people around him struggle to remain nearby.
Nanaji cares deeply about Shiva and adds a humorous family element to the action-heavy series.
8. Nani
Nani is Shiva’s maternal grandmother.

10. Bheem Singh
Bheem Singh works at Shiva’s house and helps the family with different tasks.
Despite his strong-sounding name, he is shown as a very thin man.
He frequently joins Nani in trying to stop Nanaji’s singing or in dealing with Inspector Laddoo Singh when the inspector arrives looking for Shiva.
Bheem Singh mainly appears in the lighter family-comedy moments of the show.
11. Neha
Neha is Swami’s niece and appears in selected episodes.
